Twitter updates interface

Microblogging service Twitter launches massive update interface, including a new design of pages and tabs on the connection (@ Connect) and in the course (# Discover), said in a company blog Twitter.

Back to the main Twitter page, you can now see an icon in the form of "home" at the top of the service. Tweets from accounts that are signed by the user are now displayed in the right half of the main page, not the left as before.

When you click on an individual tweet from now on you can see the responses and retweets, as well as photos and videos, built-in message.

In the left pane of the main page is located a block with a brief user's account information (the number of tweets, read the list of accounts and readership profile) and the possibility to leave a new message. Also in the left side of the main page are moved to the user accounts and recommended a list of trends Twitter.

The tab on the connection (@ Connect) on top of the Twitter allows users to see who signed up for his account or mentioned his name, retvitnul post or added to your favorites.

The course in the tab (# Discover) you can see results that reflect the interests of the user, which were obtained from the analysis of its location, language settings, and the reading list of hobbies. The system is self-learning - it stores information about the preferences and adjusts the sample results.

Design a personal page on Twitter has also changed. Basic information about your account is now located in a separate block on top of profile page.

Also on the profile page you can send a tweet to the user, see the lists of readers read accounts, photographs and so on. Here you can keep track of your personal messages.

Finally, using the button Tvitnut (Tweet) on top of the home as well as profile pages, you can send your message, including photos, location, or a link to a video or news.

Since the mobile service is actively growing audience, the content of the main page on the website Twitter.com now repeats the application interface for iPhone, iPod Touch and Android-devices.

According to the developers, the new design service is available to all users in the coming weeks. In addition, in the near future Twitter plans to release updated applications for the iPad and other mobile devices with the new interface.

The number of registered users of microblogging service Twitter over the world exceeds 200 million. However, about 50 million users log on to the service every day.
