Nokia could release their iPad and iPhone before Apple

However, it turns out, Nokia thought about the possibility of production of its "iPhone" and "iPad" long before the release of these devices from Apple.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, former chief designer Frank Nuovo Nokia said that in the late 90's Finnish conducted a presentation for investors and representatives of the cellular operators, which showed his vision of the future of wireless - phones with color touch screen, with which you can find the location of restaurant, buy a lipstick and play a racing simulator. A separate team at the same time, developed a Tablet PC - with a wireless connection and a large touchscreen.

Unfortunately, all these developments Nokia remained on the presentation slides, or as early prototypes did not see the light. Now the Finnish company is fully relied on his new partner - Microsoft and its operating system Windows Phone. It is expected that the first device on Windows Phone 8 will be presented during Nokia World 5-6 September.
