Handy File Tool - free file manager for Windows

Handy File Tool (HFT) - it is easy to use, efficient and totally free file manager with a set of useful additional features.

With the help of the proposed instrument ordinary users of Windows-systems can perform a variety of standard operations with files and folders on your hard drive, and professionals will appreciate the built-in tools for processing large numbers of objects in batch mode. Imagine that you need to make some manipulations with several hundred files. To perform this task manually would take probably a few hours, but due to HFT you can solve the problem a couple of clicks of a mouse button.

Attention is invited to a compact two-pane interface, designed in the style of the popular Norton Commander. At the top of the interface are buttons for quick access to the system menu, and various tools (such as Finder, Replacer, and Renamer), and a list of available drives. The contents of folders is displayed in two large windows in the center of the screen. And at the bottom are buttons for performing common actions such as viewing, editing, copying, moving, deleting, creating new folders, invert selection, etc.

Finder menu offers users a handy tool to search for the files by extension, size, creation date, and many other criteria. A Replace tab, users will find everything you need to replace the trim lines of text (supports normal and batch modes with separate sets of settings). Special mention should be an interesting feature Basket, which is an analogue of the clipboard for files and allows you to perform actions with the objects scattered around the hard drive. For example, you need to rename multiple files in different folders, or even in different sections. Simply select the desired objects, move them to the "shopping cart" and give them new names using a utility Renamer.

The application runs on both 32 - and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7, and 8. A copy of the file manager Handy File Tool can be downloaded from the developer - www.handyfiletool.com.
