By Affiliate Program Video Hosting YouTube, which allows authors to make commercials and promote their works, and now everyone can join in
It is stated in the affiliate blog, YouTube.
Affiliate program allows authors to receive a portion of revenue from display ads in their videos. Also, partners are given enhanced capabilities for downloading videos, channels clearance, protection from copyright infringement and the study of statistics. Previously, partners could only be the creators of popular clips.
To date, partners can become authors from twenty countries, including the U.S., UK, Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland (Russia is not among them). YouTube stressed that working on expanding this list.
To participate in the program can the authors of the original commercials, which owns all rights to their work or who are authorized holders to use them.
The "newcomers" will be available some of the features of the original affiliate program. These include the ability to create your banner ads on the site and advertise for free with advertising on Google.
Partner Program was launched in 2007.
