Do you use wireless internet anywhere in the store, stealing Wi-Fi from a neighbor, or share a channel with some other members of the conference, you may have often frustrated because of the slow speed when the network is involved in more than one person. As soon as more and more people have access to a wireless network, it becomes harder and harder to catch quite a workable signal.
However, radio waves are just one part of the spectrum, which can give you a signal. What if the Internet connection, we will use other waves?
A German physicist named Harald Haas came up with a solution that he calls "the data through the light" - fiber optic reception by sending data through the LED lamp, the intensity of the emitted light are faster than the human eye can detect. The same principle underlies the remote control, but in this case, the technology is much more powerful.
Haas said that his invention, which he calls the D-Light, can provide a data rate of more than 10 megabits per second, faster than your normal internet connection speed. In the future, as it seems, all laptops, smartphones and planshetniki will be connected to the Internet through the room lighting.
Based on this technology, you can come up with very different use of it from public access to the Internet for street lighting to automatically guided vehicles that communicate with the headlights. Also, the data coming through the visible spectrum, may alleviate concerns that the electromagnetic waves of Wi-Fi connection adversely affect your health.
