Mozilla stops supporting Firefox 3.6

For those who are still using Firefox 3.6, there is bad news. Mozilla officially cease support for the browser and force it to update the beginning of May to version 12 if automatic updates are turned on. It does not regret anything - browser 2010 is time to retire - current version is much faster, safer and more functional.

By the way, followed by the release of the final assembly of Mozilla Firefox 12 has already begun polishing the next version of its browser, which will be released in 6 weeks. Those interested, however, can already download a beta version of Firefox 13. 13 Firefox brings an updated interface different parts of a Web browser: processing undergone a "new tab", so the home page. With the new tab is now possible to choose the latest and most visited sites displayed as thumbnails. This functionality already exists in Opera and Chrome. There is also an opportunity to consolidate favorite sites as a button. On the home page, there were references to items such as bookmarks, history, settings, add-ons, downloads and synchronization settings - thanks to this novice would be easier to navigate in the browser.

Also in Firefox 13 enabled protocol SPDY, designed to speed up page load time (technically two previous release of Firefox supports, but now it will be included in the standard). After the release of Firefox, and Opera 13 12 most of the browsers will support SPDY.

Another standard feature is enabled will be the "tabs on demand." That is, when you close the browser with multiple tabs, and then start to recover only those that are directly displayed in the windows. Others will be open when you click on them. This is supported now, but is disabled by the standard. The beta version of Firefox 13 also brings a number of improvements in the tools for developers. To view the details, please visit Mozilla.
